The story of Chocolate

This book is about some villagers who find chocolate and cocoa beans in the jungle. They follow the drifting smell, then find some and pour it into a bowl.    One of them said, "yum!"  The other said, "yuck!" spitting the cocoa bean out of their mouth. Next they roasted the beans over a fire, ground them into a paste and stirred in water spices.   They called their new drink chocolate baa. It was very bitter. The people liked it.   They went hiking in the jungle for cocoa pods.  The farmers planted cocoa bean trees in their very own fields. The farmers are members of a huge group that are called the Mayans.  Before long, chocolate baa chocolate was an important part of the Mayan life.  Mayan kings and priests began to drink it every single day.  They loved the froth best.  At Mayan weddings, the bride and groom showed their love for each other by exchanging five cocoa beans. People were so enchanted by the cocoa tree, they painted it on everything.  Their walls were painted nicely. The reason why they loved it so much was because they did such hard work.  That's why it tasted so nice because they worked so hard on it. The cocoa beans became so popular that it was used as money.  Once upon a time, the world had no chocolate.  The god of farmers appeared from a paradise with a cocoa tree.

Magic School Bus/Wet All Over

This is a book about a school that has school trips every day. You may not believe this but the school bus turns into anything. They always do something exciting in their trips and they learn about it on the way. Miss Frizzle is in charge of these trips. Her class is the only class that goes on the trips. They all turned into water drops. Arnold thought they were going to water world. but they all fell in a stream and went up a big hill and down. Arnold hit Wanda so it created one big bubble with Wanda and Arnold in it. Suddenly they all fell into a waterfall. Arnold said, "oh, no-o-o-o." They had all settled down now and they could fly in the clouds.
They went into the water and into a pipe. Lizzie's tail was stuck in a pipe. Arnold said, "oh my gosh." Wanda was the saver of the day. She bit his tail and Liz finally got out. The saver of the day was Wanda. Liz has a bobo.

Scooby-Doo/Football Fright

This book is about a gang that solves mysteries. This book's called Football Fright. I will now tell you about this story.  This story is about two guys called Shaggy and Scooby.   The gang wanted to watch their favourite team. Shaggy and Scooby incidentally didn't notice that they were on the field.  They were against the tigers.  They thought they were monsters.  They ran and ran and ran and ran until they got to the goal.
They ran to the gang and said, "those players are monsters."
"Monsters?" said Velma. "They're just dressed up."  Then the actual players were the ones in the blue.  Shaggy and Scooby bought a blue jacket.  That's why the other team thought it was the actual players in the game.
The coach of the blue team said, " you were pretty good out there. Have a blue jersey, hat and a football."

On the Prowl

This is a book of animals. My first animal that I will be telling you about is the cheetah. The cheetah waits for its prey. His prey is nearby. He creeps up behind the bushes. Then he runs as fast as he possibly can. Then he pounces on its prey and bites its neck, and starts eating it. Here comes a lion, the cheetah hisses at the lion because it can take its food.

Spiders have huge eyes. Most of the spiders have eight legs. They are all very hairy.
Some spiders have two eyes, four eyes. maybe even eight eyes!

My third animal that I will be telling you about is the falcon bird. They have sharp beaks. They can have babies.

The lucky last are sharks.
They're not actually dangerous to humans. They have gigantic teeth.
